Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Material Handler to unload donations and move goods to production areas in an outdoor warehouse setting. You will help maintain a smooth flow of materials and support production through accurate sorting and counting.

Ideal candidates are 18+ years old, with no prior experience required. The role may involve forklift duties if certified and following safety standards, with a competitive hourly pay rate of $17.13.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.
• No experience required.
• Must be physically able to lift 30–40 pounds and perform a variety of warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Unload donations from containers and move goods to appropriate production areas.
• Sort donations into appropriate bins for processing.
• Maintain donor tallies and a clean work environment.
• Operate cardboard compactors and report hazards or issues.
• Assist with forklift operations when certified to Seattle Goodwill standards.
