Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Material Handler to unload donations and move goods to production areas. The role pays $17.99–$20.25 per hour DOE and requires no experience with potential for growth within the organization.

Work primarily in a warehouse setting; duties include sorting donations, preparing items for production, and maintaining a safe, efficient workflow. This role supports our mission to create job opportunities and community impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be able to lift 30-40 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Remove and sort salvage material and garbage from salable goods.
• Sort donations into appropriate bins for processing.
• Provide a smooth flow of goods to the production floor.
• Operate cardboard compactors and identify problems.
• Maintain donor tallies.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and report hazards.
• Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
