Job summary

Adecco is currently hiring a dependable Material Handler 2 for a short-term project in Jackson, MS. This role involves loading and unloading trucks, moving equipment, data entry, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace to support site decommissioning prior to lease return.

Pay is $17.54 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. The ideal candidate can lift heavy items, work well in a team, and adhere to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Repeatedly lift heavy items.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
• Warehouse, inventory, construction, moving, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform repeated and consistent heavy lifting throughout the shift.
• Move equipment, materials, and warehouse items as needed.
• Remove warehouse debris and dispose of materials in onsite dumpsters.
• Verify incoming and outgoing unit counts and conditions.
• Package, unpackage, sort, stage, and prepare units for production.
• Enter data into company systems using a PC and RF handheld scanner.
• Pull, store, and organize equipment and parts.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Meet daily productivity and quality standards.
• Follow all instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Details

$17.54 per hour
