Job summary

Adecco is hiring a Material Handler I in Reno, NV to support warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, movement and distribution of materials and finished goods. You will confirm incoming materials, generate labels, and update the warehouse management system.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, and shipping, delivering materials to manufacturing lines, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Prior experience in warehouse roles and familiarity with data entry are helpful.

Location: Reno, NV

Shifts and Pay Rates:

• Day Shift: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:30pm, Fridays 8:00am-4:30 pm | $19.00/hour

• Night Shift: Sunday-Wednesday 9:30pm-8:00am | $20.00/hour

Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to support dynamic warehouse operations? Adecco is seeking dedicated Material Handler I professionals to join our team in Reno, NV. As a Material Handler I, you will be responsible for the receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of materials and finished goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving & Inventory Control: Verify incoming materials, complete documentation, generate barcode labels, and update warehouse management systems. Support regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.

• Picking, Packing & Shipping: Prepare and package orders for shipment, handle products according to cold chain requirements, and stage materials for transportation.

• Production Support: Deliver materials to manufacturing and packaging lines, assist in maintaining smooth material flow, and support ongoing production activities.

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment, performing routine inspections and reporting issues promptly.

• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety, sanitation, and quality protocols to ensure a safe and organized work environment. Support documentation and regulatory compliance as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• 1-3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or material handling

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry

• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability

• Basic math and effective communication skills

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials throughout shift

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment including exposure to cold storage environments and refrigerated products

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with inventory management systems

• Background in manufacturing, distribution, food production, pharmaceutical, or cold storage environments

• Operation of powered industrial trucks (PIT) or other warehouse equipment

Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
