University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a Medication Dispensing Nurse to support ARTS clinical operations across Denver area locations. The role involves dispensing medications, collecting samples, and monitoring patients on MAT protocols.

The position requires a Colorado nursing license (LPN/RN) and at least two years of related experience; shifts are early mornings with some Saturdays as needed, at onsite ARTS clinics in Denver, Arvada, and Aurora.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of nursing, dispensing medication, and/or related experience.
• Valid LPN or RN license with Colorado DORA.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for appropriateness of treatment.
• Assess needs for physical exams and report observations to physicians/counselors.
• Administer medications such as Methadone, Suboxone, Naltrexone, Antabuse, and extended-release naltrexone.
