Zusammenfassung

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a Part-time Medication Dispensing Nurse to support the Addiction Research & Treatment Services (ARTS) Adult Outpatient Program. The role involves dispensing medications, collecting samples, and conducting breathalyzer tests across ARTS locations on rotating schedules.

Qualified candidates hold a nursing license (LPN/RN) and have prior dispensing or MAT-related experience.

Qualifikationen

High school diploma or GED is required.
Two years of nursing, dispensing medication, or related experience.
Must hold a valid LPN or RN license with Colorado DORA.

Aufgaben

Assess patients for treatment suitability.
Assess need for physical exams and report to physicians/counselors.
Administer medications including methadone, Suboxone, and naltrexone.
Transport narcotics following DEA/State rules with secure procedures.
Monitor vital signs and health condition of patients.
Draw blood, obtain lab results, and administer TB tests.
Identify adverse reactions and issues related to overdose/HIV/HCV.
Handle infectious materials per policy; perform other duties as assigned.
