Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a Medication Dispensing Nurse, LPN III to lead the ARTS Adult Outpatient Program team in Aurora and greater Metro Denver. You will dispense medications, assess patients for SUD/MAT suitability, supervise junior nurses, and ensure accurate records across sites including MMU duties.

Requires LPN/RN license with Colorado DORA, 2+ years in nursing/dispensing, and willingness to work 5:00am–5:30pm, Mon–Sat, up to 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years nursing/dispensing medication experience.
• Valid Colorado LPN or RN license (DORA).
• Preferred: 3+ years nursing/medication dispensing experience.
• Preferred: experience with MAT/SUD.
• Preferred: IV certification and EHR experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications including methadone, Suboxone, and naltrexone.
• Transport narcotics per DEA/state/federal rules.
• Monitor vital signs and health condition.
• Draw blood for analysis and obtain test results.
• Assess adverse reactions and overdose risk.
• Train new team members and oversee workflows.
• Collaborate with counselors on treatment plans.
• Document incidents and supervise tasks.
