Job summary

Long Wave Inc. is seeking an experienced Scheduler to develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules in a DoD-focused environment. You will work with project managers, CAMs, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with cost data and EVM requirements.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to mentor junior staff, and the capability to obtain DoD clearance. Office-based with potential travel to work sites in support of project delivery.

Qualifications

• EVM Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Earned Value Management principles and practices.
• Scheduling Proficiency: Experience with scheduling tools and methodologies, including IMS development and maintenance.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze schedule data, identify variances, and develop mitigation plans.
• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate schedule and performance information to various stakeholders.
• Leadership: Ability to lead teams, provide guidance, and mentor junior team members.
• Security Clearance: Current DoD Secret clearance desired but must be able to obtain clearance with an active in-scope investigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules, integrating with cost and resource data for EVM insight.
• Coordinate with Earned Value analysts and CAMs to align schedule, cost data, and EVM reporting.
• Track project progress, provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate resource allocation to meet milestones.
• Identify scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure scheduling practices comply with government regulations and contractual requirements.
• Maintain records of schedule changes and related documentation for audit.
• Facilitate clear communication among project team members about schedule changes.
