Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Production Planning and Scheduling professional in Tulsa, OK to oversee the master production schedule, long-range material planning, and daily shop floor control.

You will coordinate with the S&OP team to balance customer demands with plant capabilities and drive on-time shipments. The role requires a college degree or manufacturing management experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years relevant experience, or an Associate's with 5+ years.
• High level of interpersonal skills.
• Analytical capabilities.
• Strong MS Excel skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the master production schedule and long-range material plans.
• Cooperates with S&OP for scheduling customer orders and monitors backlog.
• Monitors and coordinates activities between production control, manufacturing, traffic, and shipping.
• Directs scheduling, programming, shop floor, and shipping schedules to meet objectives.
• Identifies inventory policy improvements and disposes of excess inventory as needed.
• Provides guidance and training to department personnel and maintains morale.
