Job summary

Valmont Industries in Valley, NE is seeking a Scheduler to develop and manage the master production schedule, aligning demand with capacity across the supply chain. The role involves reviewing shop orders, coordinating with Purchasing, and ensuring material availability to meet production goals.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in business or 3+ years of scheduling experience, with proficiency in Word/Excel/Outlook, and a strong Lean background.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business or 3+ years of scheduling experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• On-site attendance and lean manufacturing knowledge required.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP certification preferred or to be completed within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the master production schedule to balance demand and capacity.
• Review shop orders, inter-site orders, and supplier schedules per MRP.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to release/expedite orders and manage inventory.
• Analyze capacity, load level, and material availability; report progress.
• Identify and resolve schedule conflicts; support continuous improvement.
