Job summary

Valmont Industries in Valley, NE seeks a qualified Associate Scheduler to coordinate the master production schedule across multiple departments, ensuring shop schedules stay accurate. You will collaborate with Scheduling, Manufacturing, Storerooms, Shipping, and Maintenance to keep production flowing smoothly.

You will monitor machine load reports, expedite shortages, and communicate with Inventory Control to adjust reschedules and logistics as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing or fabrication experience.
• One year of experience with MRP systems such as IFS and Oracle Discoverer.
• Basic understanding of Production Control techniques and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook, plus good planning and organizational skills.
• Able to read and understand typical blueprints and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate completion of machine load reports with Manufacturing and Schedulers.
• Monitor status and expedite shortages to minimize past-due hours.
• Maintain communications with supervisors and Production Control for reschedules.
• Support cross-training within Production Control for coverage.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure accurate data and documentation.
