Job summary

Cure Consulting Solutions, LLC in Rochester, NY is seeking a master production scheduler to own the MPS and shop-floor priorities for a high-mix, low-volume CNC operation serving aerospace and defense customers.

You will translate demand into feasible plans, coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Customer Service to protect on-time delivery while maintaining traceability and configuration control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production planning/scheduling experience in precision machining or a comparable discrete-manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings and understand GD&T, critical features and tight-tolerance inspection needs.
• Strong Excel/data-analysis, prioritization, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the master production schedule (MPS) from orders, forecasts and capacity.
• Interpret MRP/ERP signals to identify shortages and lead-time risks; communicate impacts.
• Plan capacity for CNC mills/turns, setup labor, tooling and bottlenecks; balance across work centers.
• Sequence jobs by due date, priority and routing; update the schedule daily.
• Coordinate with machinists, supervisors, programmers and Engineering on setups and changes.
• Track work orders through machining, inspection and shipping; expedite when needed.
