Job summary

ALIGN PRECISION seeks a Master Scheduler & Planner to own the master production schedule for a high-mix CNC machining operation serving aerospace, defense and semiconductor industries. The role requires proactive planning across machine capacity, labor, tooling, inspection, and outside services to protect commitments.

You will work closely with machinists, programmers, engineering, quality, and operations leadership on the shop floor to ensure the schedule reflects reality and to drive on-time

Qualifications

• Master scheduler with broad planning responsibilities across manufacturing
• Ability to translate demand into a detailed manufacturing plan
• Strong understanding of capacity, bottlenecks, and constraints

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the master production schedule across a complex CNC environment
• Coordinate routing, setup times, tooling, and materials to build actionable plans
• Monitor production performance and adjust schedules to meet commitments
• Identify capacity constraints and develop recovery plans
• Collaborate with shop floor, engineering, quality, and purchasing to reflect reality in the schedule
• Drive on-time delivery and resolve scheduling conflicts before they impact customers
