Job summary

ALIGN PRECISION - Arundel is seeking a Master Planner / Scheduler to develop and maintain the master production schedule for a precision CNC machining job shop supporting defense programs.

This role translates customer orders into an optimized shop schedule, balancing machine and labor capacity, materials, and outside processes while complying with ITAR, DFARS and AS9100. Strong analytics and ERP/MRP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ production planning/scheduling experience in machining/manufacturing/aerospace/defense environments.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; familiarity with JobBOSS, Epicor, SAP or IQMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains the master production schedule for CNC milling, turning and related operations.
• Translates orders and delivery schedules into work orders and production priorities within the ERP/MRP system.
• Monitors WIP and schedule adherence; identifies delays and bottlenecks and resolves them.
• Coordinates with procurement to align raw materials and outside processing with production timing.
• Communicates schedule status and risks to production and program teams.
