Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Master Carpenter/Foreman to manage core construction tasks including demolition, framing, drywall, trim, and door/window installations. You will operate a range of tools and may lead a team to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality project completion.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of construction experience, strong blueprint reading skills, knowledge of building codes and OSHA safety standards, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Apprenticeship in carpentry is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in construction or maintenance related field
• Understanding of blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
• Knowledge of building codes and safety requirements (OSHA)
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate all basic functions of construction: demolition, cabinetry, framing, drywall, finish trim, window/door installation, siding, and related tasks.
• Operate hand and power tools; potential to serve as team lead and guide others to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
