Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is recruiting a Carpenter/Journeyman to handle demolition, cabinetry, framing, drywall, trim, window and door installs, and related tasks across our projects. The role requires the use of hand and power tools, following blueprints, and maintaining safety on site.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years’ construction experience, and knowledge of construction documents and safety standards (OSHA). A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; carpentry apprenticeship preferred.
• 3–5 years of construction or maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and construction documents; familiarity with safety standards (OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Perform demolition, cabinetry, framing, drywall, trim installation and window/door installs.
• Operate hand and power tools and other equipment safely.
• Follow blueprints and project specs to complete tasks on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized worksite and adhere to safety guidelines.
