Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Master Carpenter / Foreman to lead on-site construction tasks across our senior living developments. Duties include demolition, cabinetry, framing, drywall, trim, and window/door installations, with attention to quality and safety.

The role may advance to team lead, directing crews to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards. Requirements include 7–10 years in construction, blueprints, codes, OSHA knowledge, and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; carpentry apprenticeship strongly preferred.
• 7–10 years' experience in construction or maintenance field.
• Understanding of blueprints, schematics, and construction documents; knowledge of building codes and OSHA.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Demolition, cabinetry, metal and wood framing, drywall, finish trim installation, window and door installation, siding installation.
• Operate hand tools, power tools and related equipment.
• Lead as team lead when needed, directing crew to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and adheres to timelines.
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors.
