Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. is hiring a Master Carpenter / Foreman in Matthews, NC to oversee a range of construction tasks, including demolition, framing, drywall, trim, and installation of windows and doors.

You will operate hand and power tools and guide project teams to quality results. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of construction experience, carpentry apprenticeship (preferred), and ability to read blueprints and follow safety rules (OSHA).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; carpentry apprenticeship preferred.
• 7–10 years of construction or maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of building codes and OSHA safety requirements; valid drivere2a0s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform demolition, cabinetry, framing, drywall, trim, window/door, and siding installation.
• Operate hand and power tools and other construction equipment.
• May lead team and ensure safe, efficient, high-quality project completion.
