Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Master Carpenter/Foreman to lead on-site residential construction and renovation projects. You will manage demolition, cabinetry, framing, drywall, trim, windows and doors, ensuring safety and high-quality workmanship.

Strong knowledge of blueprints, construction documents, and OSHA safety is required; apprenticeship is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to guide a team to successful project completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; carpentry apprenticeship preferred.
• 7–10 years of construction or maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of blueprints, schematics and construction docs.
• OSHA safety standards knowledge and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic construction tasks: demolition, cabinetry, framing, drywall, trim, windows and doors.
• Operate hand and power tools; maintain safe, efficient worksite practices.
• Provide direction as team lead to ensure high-quality, on-time project completion.
• Follow blueprints and specs to achieve quality workmanship and safety compliance.
