Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a Construction Executive to lead field operations on a mega project or multiple projects within a BU, serving as the primary on-site authority for safety, schedule, quality, and coordination with the enterprise team.

You will shape field execution strategies, manage trade contractors, and drive project performance while mentoring site leaders and aligning with business development goals. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 20+ years of experience in the construction industry with at least 5 years in a lead role on large/multi-project efforts.
• OSHA 30-hour certified; STS-C Certification; First Aid/CPR/AED/Stop the Bleed training.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the Master Builder for field execution and site management across the BU/Division.
• Establishes reporting requirements and safety/quality metrics for jobsite performance.
• Leads deployment of site services and coordinates staffing with Operations Manager.
• Ensures consistency in field process execution and safety culture.
• Supports preconstruction and job pursuit through planning and scheduling reviews.
