Job summary

Gilbane Building Company in Missouri seeks a Construction Executive to lead field operations on mega or multiple projects. The role demands extensive leadership, strategic oversight, and collaboration with business development to align project goals with client expectations.

The position requires 20+ years in construction, a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management, OSHA 30, and proven leadership on large-scale builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent.
• OSHA 30-hour certified.
• STS-C Certification.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed Training.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the “Master Builder” advising teams on field execution and related topics.
• Establishes and monitors reporting requirements and accountability metrics for safety and quality.
• Leads deployment of site services utilization across projects.
• Ensures continuity and consistency in field management processes.
• Acts as Senior General Superintendent when necessary on troubled projects.
• Coordinates staffing/resource management for field roles.
• Supports business development and client relationships as needed.
• Partners with BU leadership to optimize profit levers and margins.
