Job summary

Gilbane Building Company in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Construction Executive to lead field operations on mega or multiple projects. You will guide teams from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence, while applying strategic decisions to maximize project value.

You will mentor superintendents, drive staffing plans, and foster community relationships with subcontractors and local programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 20+ years of construction industry experience with 5+ years in field leadership.
• OSHA 30-hour certified and STS-C certification.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed training.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the Master Builder advising teams from pre-sell through closeout on field execution.
• Establishes and monitors reporting requirements and safety/quality metrics.
• Leads site services deployment and staffing coordination with leadership.
• Ensures continuity and consistency in field process execution and Baseline adherence.
• Oversees senior supervision on troubled projects when needed.
• Participates in project vitals, forecasts, and health assessments with quick actions.
• Supports business development and client relationships to position Gilbane as the Builder of Choice.
