Gerber Collision & Glass in Johns Creek, GA is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and refinish vehicles, aiming for speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, using cutting tools, welding, and inspecting completed work to meet KPIs. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and/or technical training; on-site, full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or technical training in auto body repair.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of repair tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis/frames and replace damaged sections with parts.
• Weld, repaint, and ensure all work meets KPIs and quality standards.
• Inspect vehicles after repair for correctness and completeness.
