Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Union City, GA is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repairs that restore pre-accident condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school or a 3-year auto body apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer dents and apply filler to repair damage.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect post-repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
