Gerber Collision & Glass in Peachtree Corners, GA is seeking an Auto Body Technician to expertly assess and repair vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition with speed, quality and customer excellence. The role involves disassembling, repairing, reassembling, and refinishing vehicles while upholding the WOW standards and KPIs set by the shop.

You will collaborate with team members, use cutting tools, realign frames, replace parts, and ensure finished work meets factory specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Execute the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates using appropriate tools.
• Repair dents with fillers when needed and realign chassis/frames as necessary.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass.
• Weld and reattach parts; repaint vehicles to factory specifications or equivalents.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor time guidelines and inspect for quality.
