Gerber Collision & Glass in Georgia is seeking an Auto Body Technician who will provide an exceptional customer experience by meticulously assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding the company’s speed and quality standards.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, using a range of tools, realigning chassis, replacing parts, welding, and repainting to factory specs.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.

Aufgaben

• Ensure WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan is executed consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools to repair sections of a vehicle and realign chassis/frames as needed.
• Replace or repair glass and interior parts; weld and repaint vehicles as required.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
