Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Stone Mountain, GA seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, align frames, replace parts, and ensure quality and speed in our WOW-driven process.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis, replace or repair parts and glass as needed.
• Weld, fit, and repaint components to factory specifications.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety.
