Gerber Collision & Glass in Roswell, GA is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair and restoration to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign chassis, replace parts, and work with the WOW operating method to meet KPI goals.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical training or apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.

Responsabilités

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work that is necessary and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Uses tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammers out dents and applies filler resins to repair damage.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replaces or repairs glass, interior parts, and performs painting as needed.
• Inspects vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
