Gerber Collision & Glass in Georgia is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver high-quality repairs and a standout customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning components with speed and accuracy to meet KPI targets and brand standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus possible technical training or an apprenticeship. You will work with a team to restore vehicles and may handle estimates, part replacements, and finish work with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Uses tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts; repairs glass and windshields as needed.
• Welds and fits parts, prepares and repaints vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
