Job summary

CDW seeks a strategic leader to define and govern the architecture for marketing automation, data, and AI across AWS/Azure environments. You will translate business needs into reference architectures and drive API design, data models, and platform governance.

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of marketing tech initiatives, lead a multidisciplinary team, and partner with IT, Marketing, and Security to ensure compliant, high-impact deployments. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, CS, Engineering or related field with 7+ years in marketing tech/integration, or 11+ years equivalent.
• 3+ years designing and implementing RESTful APIs with authentication, versioning, governance.
• Strong understanding of HTTP, JSON, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience writing integration specifications.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or similar.
• Experience architecting cloud-native integrations using AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with major martech platforms and CRM/Marketing Cloud ecosystems.
• Proven leadership and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture for marketing automation, data, and AI with scalable, secure platforms.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications, reference architectures, and solution designs.
• Own intake, triage, and resolution for platform requests, incidents, enhancements, defects, and AI use cases.
• Design and govern RESTful and event-driven APIs, including authentication, versioning, and error handling.
• Oversee data models across CRM, CDP, and activation platforms and manage cloud, integration and model costs.
