Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager to lead the strategic design of lead scoring, nurturing, and email campaigns across the Paychex marketing stack. You’ll work with corporate marketing, Salesforce COE, sales operations and analytics to ensure data-driven decisions and a robust buyer journey.

You will own data hygiene, cross‑functional program design, and ongoing optimization of the marketing automation platform to support scalable growth and improved customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 5+ years of marketing data analysis experience including Marketo or other MA tools
• 3+ years Salesforce.com experience
• 3+ years data management in CRM or MA platforms
• Marketo Certified Expert preferred

Responsibilities

• Administers the marketing automation system and designs strategic programs
• Partner with marketing and sales to understand the buyer journey and data availability
• Coordinate marketing communications across units for frequency and messaging
• Create self-auditing programs and process improvements
• Provide email marketing expertise across divisions and ensure best practices
• Set data hygiene standards for importing/exporting/cleansing data
• Provide documentation and training for marketing automation staff
• Maintain annual roadmap for marketing automation platform
