Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Marketing Automation Administrator to design and optimize our automation framework, ensuring data integrity from lead to client. You will collaborate with marketing, Salesforce COE, and sales to shape the buyer journey and drive consistent, compliant communications across channels.

You will lead programs, audit processes, and provide guidance on email marketing practices, data imports/exports, and platform roadmaps aligned with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree - Required
• 5 years of experience in marketing data analysis with Marketo or other marketing automation tools
• 3 years of Salesforce.com experience
• 3 years of data management in modern CRM/marketing automation platforms
• Marketo Certified Expert - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Administers the marketing automation system, including strategic program design, data integrity standards, and systems optimization.
• Partners with corporate marketing and sales stakeholders to understand the buyer's journey, ensuring long-term data availability from lead to client.
• Coordinates marketing communications across units, optimizing frequency, messaging, and experience.
• Creates self-auditing programs and processes, with regular improvement recommendations.
• Serves as email marketing expert, advising on best practices, reputation, and technical specs.
• Sets data hygiene standards for importing/exporting/updating/cleansing data; monitors data hygiene.
• Provides documentation and training to support marketing automation specialists.
• Maintains annual roadmap for marketing automation platform aligned with goals.
