You will interview and hire, manage payroll, and drive profitability through pricing and promotions. The position emphasizes leadership in a fast-paced retail market with accountability for service quality, cost control, and staff coaching.

Responsibilities

• Operate market successfully through outstanding customer service by staff to achieve customer satisfaction and financial goals.
• Interview, select, and hire store personnel following Aztec Shops approved practices.
• Develop and maintain employee schedules to meet staffing needs and customer satisfaction.
• Perform administrative duties accurately and promptly.
• Manage and develop market operations staff, including hiring, disciplining, and evaluating performance.
• Formulate pricing recommendations for profitability and market comparability.
• Participate in annual operating budget development.
• Implement operational plans to achieve profit and growth goals.
• Prepare daily sales reports to assess profitability and adjust staffing accordingly.
• Plan and assign work schedules and tasks to employees.
• Assist in generating sales promotional activities for the market.
• Order food/inventory or requisition replenishments using inventory system.
• Ensure proper procedures and guidelines are followed in daily market operations.
