Job summary

Aztec Shops Ltd. in San Diego, CA seeks an Assistant General Manager to actively manage campus concessions on a day-to-day basis under the General Manager of Concessions. You will direct staff, oversee events and locations, and ensure financial and service standards are met.

This role requires working nights, weekends, and holidays, with strong leadership, budgeting, and food-service compliance. A high school diploma and experience in high-volume concessions are preferred; ServSafe certification

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; associate degree in Food Services Management/Hospitality or Business Admin preferred.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in high-volume foodservice.
• Strong leadership, communication, time management, and computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Directs concessions operations and staff for events and locations.
• Schedules staff and manages labor costs.
• Ensures food safety, sanitation, and EH&S compliance.
• Oversees budgeting, inventory, and financial reports.
• Maintains guest-service standards and resolves escalated issues.
