Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Prefer an Associate degree in Business or Hospitality Management.
• 2+ years in high-volume food service operations with supervisory experience.
• Strong communication, computer literacy and mathematical skills.
• ServSafe Manager certification preferred; RBS certification preferred for alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee concessions events with emphasis on guest service and profitability.
• Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Coordinate with university personnel on concessions expectations and concerns.
• Conduct all administrative duties accurately and timely.
• Manage annual revenue responsibilities up to multi-million dollars.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate full-time and part-time staff; supervise food handlers and RBS training.
• Implement pricing strategies to maintain profitability and market competitiveness.
• Prepare event sales reports to assess profitability and adjust staffing and production levels.
• Ensure proper inspections, handling and storage of inventories; enforce sanitation standards.
• Provide leadership in event operations and ensure compliance with company policies and laws.
