Job summary

Chase is seeking a Market Director of Banking in Consumer Bank to lead customer experience, drive growth in deposits and banking business, and coach Branch Managers. You will oversee market performance, collaborate with Wealth Management and Home Lending partners, and ensure a culture of excellence with strong risk controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of branch management or related leadership experience.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Proven track record of coaching and developing high performing sales teams.
• Ability to identify market needs and tailor proactive customer education.
• Demonstrated ability building relationships and collaborating with other lines of business remotely.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a sense of urgency.
• Experience with consumer and commercial credit knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coaches branch managers to engage customers and address escalations.
• Develops best practice techniques for coaching, reviewing business, cooperation and ensuring compliance.
• Recruits, retains, and develops talent and fosters an environment where employees grow.
• Develops strategies to achieve key financial metrics including deposit and investment balance growth, customer acquisition and retention, and expense management.
• Leads integration with Chase Wealth Management, Business Banking and Home Lending to grow other lines of business.
• Manages the market to ensure an excellent customer experience and deploys resources to optimize market performance.
• Ensures branch managers mitigate risk and remain in compliance to guarantee safe banking for clients.
