Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States seeks a Software Engineer for the Maritime Division to own and advance autonomous software across vehicle and mission systems. You will drive end-to-end development from design to deployment, mentoring peers, and collaborating across disciplines.

You may travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users and teams, delivering scalable architecture and robust software for next‑generation autonomous platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer in one or more domains or technologies.
• Systems and/or application programming skills including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, infrastructure, design.
• Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems.
• Ability to work holistically on software enabled capabilities across the full stack and lifecycle.
• Ability to act as the technical owner for a software service, including stakeholder engagement and roadmap management.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and grow team capacity.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end-users and drive solutions that balance their needs with constraints in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, optimizing value delivery.
• Design and implement scalable software with a clear path for architecture and capability evolution.
• Contribute to design and development of services usable across Anduril products.
• Develop software that runs on- and off- robotic platforms using various technologies.
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
• Mentor software engineers from differing backgrounds as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users and other teams.
