Job summary

Anduril Industries' Maritime Division is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive embedded and safety-critical software across our autonomous platforms. You will lead end-to-end development from drivers to vehicle management, with real-time constraints and RTOS.

You will mentor teammates, own components, collaborate across hardware and software teams, and travel up to 20% to work with end-users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in robotics, mechatronics, CS, or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in C and real-time software development.
• Experience with RTOS and multithreaded systems.
• Familiar with CAN/CANFD, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet and ARINC protocols.
• Ability to own software components end-to-end and mentor peers.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement safety-critical Vehicle Management Systems.
• Develop real-time embedded software and drivers for sensors and actuators.
• Contribute to reusable software components across product lines.
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
• Travel to end-users or teams up to 20%.
