Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Maritime Division to lead software components across autonomous systems, simulation, data processing, and mission software. You will own end-to-end delivery within subsystems, mentor teammates, and contribute to a scalable software lifecycle.

You will work with a cross-disciplinary team on vehicle and mission software, integrating radar, sensors, and autonomy stacks. Expect travel up to 20% and security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer with domain/tech expertise.
• Strong systems and software design, including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and testing.
• Experience troubleshooting remotely deployed software systems.
• Ability to own software services, including stakeholder engagement and roadmapping.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and grow team cohesion.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end-users and drive solutions balancing their needs with constraints in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, optimizing for value delivery.
• Design and implement scalable software with a clear path for architecture evolution.
• Contribute to design and development of services across Anduril for re-use.
• Develop software running on- and off-robotic platforms across technologies.
• Support vehicle software delivery and lifecycle testing, monitoring and operation.
• Create test and simulation fixtures for software- and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Assist in vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary engineering team and mentor engineers.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users/teams.
