Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Maritime Division. You will independently drive delivery of software across autonomy, simulation, data processing, payload integration, and off-board command and control, acting as a technical lead through the product lifecycle.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and support manufacturing and deployment. Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive software engineering experience across domains and lifecycle.
• Ability to own a software service, engage stakeholders, and roadmap work.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team cohesion.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of software across autonomy, simulation, data processing and payload integration.
• Lead architecture, design, delivery, and evolution of next-generation autonomous platforms.
• Develop software that runs on- and off- robotic platforms with diverse technologies.
• Develop and execute development processes for vehicle and mission software, including testing and monitoring.
• Create test and simulation fixtures with software- and hardware-in-the-loop, and support deployment.
• Mentor engineers from diverse backgrounds and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Travel to co-locate with end-users and other teams up to 20% of the time.
