Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking Senior Software Engineers for its Maritime Division to drive autonomy and data processing across robotic platforms. You will own end-to-end software delivery, contribute to architecture, and mentor teammates while aligning with national defense priorities.

The role emphasizes testing, simulation, and integration across on-board and off-board systems, with travel up to 20% to work with end-users and other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive software engineering experience across domains/technologies.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, scaling, testing, and design.

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end-users and balance requirements in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers.
• Design scalable software with clear architecture and capability evolution paths.
• Develop reusable components across Anduril product lines.
• Create tests and simulations including hardware-in-the-loop.
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
• Mentor engineers from diverse backgrounds.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users or teams.
