Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking Senior Software Engineers for embedded and safety-critical software across maritime autonomous platforms. You will own software components from design through sustainment, including device drivers, RTOS-based firmware, and vehicle management subsystems.

You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Occasional travel up to 20% is expected to co-locate with end-users and other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient at writing C.
• Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Familiar with bus protocols such as CAN, CANFD, UART/RS232/RS422/RS485, SPI, QSPI, I2C, Ethernet, ARINC-825, ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553.

Responsibilities

• Design trusted, safety-critical Vehicle Management Systems for multi-stakeholder environments.
• Develop scalable vehicle sub-systems like sensor processing and state estimation.
• Contribute to reusable software components across product lines.
• Develop real-time embedded software using an RTOS.
• Create device drivers and interfaces to sensors and actuators.
• Build test and simulation fixtures for software- and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
• Mentor software engineers from diverse backgrounds in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users or teams.
