Job summary

Veit & Company, Inc. in Minneapolis seeks a Diver/ Dive Tender to perform tending, diving, and standby diver tasks on varied projects including dredging, welding, drilling, and concrete work.

You will follow OSHA safety procedures, maintain equipment, read site plans, and travel as needed. This is a union-based role with long hours including evenings and weekends, and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Dive Certificate from accredited diving school.
• CPR, First Aid/AED certifications.
• Ability to read site plans and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Tend, dive, and standby diver as required by project needs.
• Perform underwater and topside tasks per project requirements.
• Maintain and inspect equipment; report defects to Foreman.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and maintain a clean job site.
