Job summary

VEIT is seeking a Diver/Dive Tender to perform tending, diving, and standby diving tasks across diverse projects, including dredging and construction work. You will support other craft workers as needed and ensure safety and adherence to procedures at all times.

Qualifications include a dive certificate, CPR/First Aid, and 2–3 years of related experience or equivalent training. Willingness to travel and work long hours is required.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Dive Certificate from accredited diving school.
• O2 Administrator, CPR, and First Aid/AED certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform tending, diving, and standby diver tasks.
• Work with small equipment and tools.
• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on equipment; refer defects to supervisor.
• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures; report concerns to supervision.
• Follow procedures from orientations and training.
• Keep the job site clean and secure; move materials and tools.
• Inform supervisors of actions that may affect tasks or operations.
• Other projects or duties as assigned by management.
