Veit & Company, Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a Diver/ Dive Tender to perform tending, diving, and standby duties on varied projects, including dredging, welding, and concrete work.
Requirements: dive certificate, O2 administrator, CPR and First Aid/AED, plus strong communication and ability to read site plans. Travel and long hours may be required; this is a union-scale position with benefits such as a 401(k) plan. A safety-focused environment and teamwork are essential to success.
The Diver/Dive Tender will be required to serve in various roles of tending, diving, and standby diver. Responsibilities will include accomplishing underwater and topside tasks per project requirements. Projects vary from dredging, burning, welding, drilling, concrete work, and many other tasks. May assist other craft workers as needed.
