Job summary

Veit & Company, Inc. is seeking a Diver Tender to perform tending, diving and standby duties on diverse projects, including dredging, welding, and concrete work. The role may require assisting other crafts as needed.

This position requires a valid diving certificate, O2 admin, CPR and First Aid/AED certifications, plus 2–3 years of related experience or an equivalent education path. Strong communication and attention to site plans are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of related experience or equivalent education.
• Diving certificate from accredited diving school.
• O2 Administrator, CPR and First Aid/AED certifications.
• Ability to read and understand site plans and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Tend, dive, and standby diver as required by project.
• Perform underwater and topside tasks per project requirements.
• Inspect and maintain assigned equipment; report defects to supervisors.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe job site.
• Travel as needed and assist other craft workers.
