Zusammenfassung

Silvus is seeking a Business Development Engineer, US Marine Corps, to join the Applications Engineering team. This role bridges RF capabilities with Marine Corps customer requirements and emerging trends, supporting USMC acquisition stakeholders and field demonstrations across diverse environments.

The position requires up to 50% travel for field tests and customer meetings, with a 100% remote option depending on location. A SECRET clearance and US citizenship are prerequisites.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field; OR HS Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of Software‑Defined Radios (SDRs), IP‑based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment contingent upon successful background check and drug test.

• Analyze USMC operational priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Support planning, network configuration, and field trials.
• Collaborate to benchmark data and verify solution architectures.
• Maintain alignment with Business Development for technical needs.
• Build and present technical demonstrations for expeditionary networking needs.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and test end‑to‑end architectures.
• Travel 50% for customer sites, labs, and field testing.
