Job summary

Amcor is seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our team in Waxahachie, TX. You will set up, operate, and adjust manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality products safely and efficiently.

You will lead daily line activities, assist and train Operators, and help troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. In this role you will work on the Production Utility Team, maintain a clean work area, use PCs for labeling and production tasks, and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Follow safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Able to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.
• Overtime on weekends and holidays may be required.
• Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Operators and the Production Supervisor.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely.
• Lead daily production activities on assigned lines.
• Support and train Machine Line Operators (MLOs).
• Troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with other operators to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Use computer systems for production tasks and labeling.
• Navigate production scheduling systems to meet deadlines.
