Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Waxahachie, TX. You will set up, operate, and adjust equipment to produce quality products, support line operators, and help troubleshoot to minimize downtime. A strong commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.

You will work on a non-climate-controlled site, follow PPE policies, and collaborate with a dedicated team to meet production schedules while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Follow safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to lift and move moderate weight (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely.
• Lead daily production activities on assigned lines and support/train MLOs.
• Troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Navigate JDE to maintain production schedule.
• Perform basic housekeeping and safety tasks as required.
