Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Waxahachie, TX. You will set up, operate, and adjust equipment to produce high-quality products safely and efficiently.

The role requires leading on nightly shifts, supporting training for colleagues, and ensuring continuous operation with tight quality control. Responsibilities include reading production schedules via JDE, starting/stopping extruders, and maintaining multiple lines with minimal scrap.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Forklift operation experience preferred; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Must work twelve-hour shifts (nights) and overtime when needed.
• Must be willing to train on days.
• Must be able to efficiently navigate JDE (Data Management System) to read/view production schedules, BOMs and ensure lines are running efficiently in all aspects.
• Must be able to safely and efficiently start and stop extruders, upstream and all downstream equipment.
• Must be able to safely and efficiently start lines up and put them into production with minimal scrap.
• Must be able to safely and efficiently maintain and run up to 3 lines, including process control documents and quality checks.
